Brief Report On China's Tea Import And Export Situation in April 2026

According to data from China Customs:

 

In April 2026, China's tea exports totaled 33,700 tons, an increase of 1.72% year-on-year and 5.20% month-on-month;

 

the export value was US$130 million, an increase of 9.88% year-on-year and 9.48% month-on-month; the average export price was US$3.87 per kilogram, an increase of 8.01% year-on-year and 4.07% month-on-month.

 

From January to April 2026, China's total tea exports reached 133,900 tons, a decrease of 0.12% year-on-year;

 

the total export value was US$517 million, an increase of 10.22% year-on-year;

 

the average export price was US$3.86 per kilogram, an increase of 10.35% year-on-year.news-560-930
