According to data from China Customs:
In March 2026, China's tea exports totaled 32,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 8.72% and a month-on-month increase of 12.10%;
the export value was US$119 million, a year-on-year decrease of 1.27% and a month-on-month increase of 4.80%;
the average export price was US$3.72 per kilogram, a year-on-year increase of 8.16% and a month-on-month decrease of 6.51%.
In the first quarter of 2026, China's total tea exports reached 100,200 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 0.72%;
the total export value was US$386 million, a year-on-year increase of 10.33%;
the average export price was US$3.85 per kilogram, a year-on-year increase of 11.14%.
