01 Overall situation

   According to customs statistics, in the first half of 2026, China's tea exports amounted to 196000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.5%, with a total value of 760 million US dollars and an average price of 3.9 US dollars per kilogram, an increase of 5.7% and 8.4% respectively.

02 Tea category data

    The export volume of various types of tea, including jasmine tea (4013 tons), ripe Pu erh tea (761 tons), white tea (237 tons), black tea (192 tons), and other flower teas (109 tons), increased year-on-year, with the largest increase of 89.9% for other flower teas. The export volume of green tea (171000 tons), black tea (12000 tons), and oolong tea (7088 tons) decreased year-on-year.

03 Sub market data

    The top 10 tea export markets are Morocco, Uzbekistan, Mauritania, Senegal, Cote d'Ivoire, Algeria, Russia, Mali, Ghana, and Niger. The year-on-year increase in exports to Mali (6963 tons) was the highest, reaching 57.5%; The largest year-on-year decline in exports to Ghana (6829 tons) and exports (26.53 million US dollars) was 43.4% and 45.3%, respectively. The average export price to Uzbekistan is 2.4 US dollars per kilogram, with the largest year-on-year increase of 21.0%; The average export price to Russia is 2.5 US dollars per kilogram, with the largest year-on-year decrease of 8.6%.
