There are generally five ways to preserve green tea at home:
Crock pot tea storage method. This method existed in ancient times. Feng Mengzhen of the Ming Dynasty said in "Kaixuetang Manlu": "A large urn of real tea, with the bottom of the urn, sealed and placed upside down, will not turn yellow in the summer, and its gas will not leak out." The moisture content of tea should not exceed 6%. Quicklime can be used to dehumidify. The specific operation method is the same as the lime block preservation method.
Canning method. Containers should be metal cans, boxes, cans, boxes for pastry or other food, or iron or aluminum or paper or paper, or square or round or flat or irregular. The important thing is that the tea should be dry and the bag mouth should be sealed. This method is simple and convenient to take.
How to store tea in plastic bags. Choose food packaging bags with high density, high pressure, thick, good strength and no peculiar smell. The tea can be wrapped in soft clean paper in advance, then placed in a food bag and sealed.
Thermos tea storage method. Use a hot water bottle that is not well insulated and discarded, fill it with dry green tea, close the cork, and seal it with wax.
Refrigerator preservation method. Green tea is packed into food packaging bags with high density, high pressure, thick, good strength and no peculiar smell, and then placed in the freezer or freezer of the refrigerator. This method has a long storage time and good effect, but the mouth of the bag must be tightly sealed, otherwise it will regain moisture or smell, which will damage the quality of green tea leaves.
