On July 23, 2026, the second session of the Hubei Tea Import and Export Chamber of Commerce held its first general meeting and election ceremony in Wuhan. Officials from the Hubei Provincial Department of Commerce and Hubei Agricultural Development Group, representatives of member units of the Hubei Tea Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, relevant industry associations and experts, as well as media representatives from both inside and outside the province, attended the meeting. I will attend the meeting and give a keynote speech as Vice President Yu Lu.
The meeting listened to and reviewed and approved documents such as the Party building work report of the Chamber of Commerce, the work report of the first Council, the financial work report of the first Council, the "Election Method for the Replacement of the Hubei Tea Import and Export Chamber of Commerce", the revised Articles of Association of the Hubei Tea Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, and the "Management Measures for the Change and Use of the Second Membership Fee Standards of the Hubei Tea Import and Export Chamber of Commerce". The Social Work Department of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee read out the approval of the election on site, providing strong guidance for the standardized and normalized development of the Chamber of Commerce. The new council has gathered industry backbone forces such as provincial state-owned enterprises, leading tea enterprises, and professional foreign trade platforms, further optimizing the organizational structure of the chamber of commerce and injecting new vitality into its high-quality development.
Under the strong leadership of the Hubei Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, and with the strong guidance and support of the Hubei Tea Industry Chain Work Special Team, the Hubei Tea Import and Export Chamber of Commerce has always adhered to its original mission of "serving members, regulating the industry, and promoting development" since its establishment in 2019. It has deeply cultivated the foreign trade track of the Hubei tea industry, fully played the role of government enterprise bridge and industry link, adhered to party building leading the development of the chamber of commerce, steadily promoted the standardized construction of functional party organizations, and built a complete information service, policy docking, market expansion, and brand promotion platform, effectively helping enterprises avoid foreign trade risks, seize market opportunities, and made positive contributions to stabilizing foreign trade, expanding markets, and promoting revitalization of the Hubei tea industry.
The successful convening of this election marks a new stage of standardized, specialized, and international development for the Hubei Tea Import and Export Chamber of Commerce. Standing at a new starting point of development, the Chamber of Commerce will unite industry forces, deeply cultivate the foreign trade track, bravely shoulder industrial missions, continuously polish the "Chutian Good" golden signboard, and promote more Hubei good tea to enter broader domestic and international markets.
