Recently, tea expos have taken place in many regions nationwide. From July 23 to 26, the 30th Shanghai International Tea Trade Fair was held in Shanghai. More than 30 colourful events were staged, including public tasting sessions for all six major tea categories, children's tea‑art performances, incense‑culture lectures, meditation‑themed tea ceremonies and community tea‑art demonstrations. From July 24 to 27, the 10th Shenyang International Tea Industry Expo opened in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. Covering an exhibition area of 15 000 square meters, the expo set up four major exhibition zones: Famous National Teas, Aesthetic Tea‑ware, Hong Kong‑Macao‑Taiwan & International Products, and Yixing Zisha Pottery. This series of tea expos helps boost market momentum and fuels the development of the tea industry.
