In April 2026, the Indonesian Ministry of Health signed and released the "Health Minister's Decision on Nutrition Labeling and Health Reminder Labeling of Instant Processed Foods", officially establishing the "Nutri Level" Front of Pack Nutrition Grading System, aimed at guiding consumers to reduce their intake of "high sugar, high salt, high fat (GGL)" ingredients. In June, the Indonesian National Food and Drug Administration officially promoted the implementation of the Nutri Level nutrition grading labeling system. Processed foods that have obtained a business license and those that are applying for a business license must be adjusted to comply with the new regulations within 24 months from the date of the regulation. Nutri Level is mandatory and will be officially implemented from 24 months after the regulation is issued.
