Generally speaking, the steps of a green tea production line include picking, frying, rolling, drying, shaping, and packaging. The production process of Chunmi green tea is similar, but due to the special shape of the tea, there are some differences in the process, resulting in a unique process.
After fresh tea leaves are picked, they must be dried to prevent fermentation, thereby blocking any enzyme activity that would lead to oxidation. The tea leaves are hand-rolled and pan-roasted, giving the tea its unique shape and flavor. The tea leaves must be stirred constantly to allow them to dry evenly.
