A few days ago, at the Tea Research Institute Base of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Sanjie Town, Shengzhou City, Shaoxing, the scientific research team is debugging the third-generation famous tea picking robot to help Longjing tea picking with the help of artificial intelligence. The robot can accurately identify the new shoots and buds of tea trees and pick them with precise 3D positioning. By building a new production mode of "digital tea industry", it promotes the innovation and development of tea technology and effectively improves the efficiency of tea production.
It is understood that the "smart tea pickers" settled in the tea garden is the result of the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Zhejiang University and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University through interdisciplinary innovation, digital and information empowerment, aiming at "smart picking", "smart farming" and "smart farming". “Tea Garden Management and Control” and other fields to explore breakthroughs.
Zhang Jianyang, head of the Shengzhou base of China Tea Institute, introduced that this technology is currently being promoted in a pilot test of 341 acres of tea gardens in the base, and the base is expected to become the first batch of smart tea gardens in China.
In fact, multi-source digital intelligent technologies such as drone near-ground remote sensing and phenology cameras have been widely used in tea gardens. The Shengzhou Tea Comprehensive Experimental Base of the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is actively building the province's first digital identification base for new varieties of tea trees. A series of modern collection technologies create digital tea gardens.
The base is a scientific experiment base and a demonstration platform for the transformation of achievements established by the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
It is understood that at present, the base has completed the installation of the meteorological and soil intelligent acquisition system, and the entire project will be completed by the end of 2023.
