Shipping companies are raising prices across the board! Freight rates for Europe and West Africa routes will be adjusted starting November 15th.
MSC announced that, effective November 15, 2025 (until further notice, but not exceeding November 30, 2025), the following new freight rates will be implemented from all Far East ports (including but not limited to ports in Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia) to ports in Northern Europe, the Mediterranean (including the Western Mediterranean, Eastern Mediterranean, Adriatic and North Africa) and the Black Sea.

MSC also announced that, effective November 15, 2025 (until further notice, but not exceeding November 30, 2025), the following new freight rates will be implemented from all Far East ports (including but not limited to ports in Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia) to all West African ports.

Hapag-Lloyd recently announced an increase in freight rates for all types of cargo between the Far East and Europe, applicable to goods transported in 20-foot and 40-foot dry and refrigerated containers (including high cube containers), effective November 15, 2025.

In addition, CMA CGM also announced that starting from November 15, 2025, the FAK rates for Asia-Nordic routes will be adjusted to: US$1,700 for small containers and US$3,000 for large containers.
