Qatar announced on July 25, 2026, that all maritime navigation activities for various vessels will resume fully starting July 26. Previously, on July 12, Qatar had advised citizens to suspend all maritime activities. The maritime department stated in the declaration that all crew members and operators must strictly comply with national maritime regulations. Before departure and during navigation, comprehensive inspections and the full equipping of safety and security devices are mandatory to ensure maritime navigation safety.
