Chinese-funded enterprises in the UAE launch charity donation event
Chinese-funded enterprises in the UAE responded to the call of the UAE Food Bank and jointly launched the "Ramadan Good Deeds, Let Love Deliver" charity donation event, donating 1,400 iftar meals to local labor groups living in difficulty.
On that day, under the organization of the Emirates Food Bank, more than 30 volunteers from Chinese-funded enterprises such as China Mobile International Middle East Company, China National Building Materials International Middle East and North Africa Company, Bank of China Dubai Branch and China Construction Middle East Company distributed iftar meals in Dubai. Sending care to low-income and disadvantaged groups in the local society embodies the spirit of friendship, mutual assistance and tolerance, and expresses the social responsibility of Chinese-funded enterprises in the UAE.
The UAE Food Bank is the first food bank in the country, aiming to fully mobilize social resources to reduce food waste and eliminate hunger. It is reported that during Ramadan in 2024, the food bank launched a 5 million meal donation initiative, benefiting more than 500,000 families and 3 million workers.
