Tea foam is good for weight loss

The "foam" that rises to the surface of tea during brewing is not impurities or pesticide residue, but rather tea saponins naturally present in the tea leaves. Scientific studies have confirmed that tea saponins have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. They can also inhibit pancreatic lipase activity, effectively reducing the absorption of fat from food in the intestines, thus aiding in weight loss. The ancients considered this white foam to be the essence, as described in Du Yu's poem: "Radiant as accumulated snow, radiant as spring blossoms." In most cases, the main purpose of "washing tea" is to moisten the tea leaves, helping them unfurl and release their flavor, rather than to remove pesticide residues. A more professional term for this is "awakening the tea" or "moistening the tea."
