A grading term
In modern orthodox black-tea grading, Orange Pekoe-often abbreviated OP-usually refers to a whole-leaf style. Related abbreviations such as FOP, BOP and dust grades describe different leaf presentations after sorting.
The term does not operate as one universal quality score across all countries. A grade can help describe physical leaf, but origin, season, processing and cup quality still need separate evaluation.

Where did the word orange come from?
