Hapag-Lloyd
On March 17, Hapag-Lloyd issued another annoucement to levy GRIs from Asia to Latin America. Combined rate increase(GRIs) from Asia to the West Coast of South America, East Coast of South America, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean are coming.

This GRI will apply to cargo shipped in 20' and 40' dry containers, including high cube and 40' non-oerational reefers. This GRI will apply to all destinations in this bulletin on April 1, 2025( Puerto Rico and the U..S. Virgin Islands will apply on April 19, 2025). Please keep in mind that this GRI is valid until further notice.
CMA
On March 17, CMA CGM issued another announcement to levy a peak season surcharge PSS from the Far East to West Africa. From 1 April 2025 until further notice. Dry cargo from the Far East to northern West Africa( Liberia, Senegal, Mauritania, Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Bissau, Cape Verde, Thom and Principe) is subject to a surcharge of $400/TEU PSS.

Effective April 1, 2025 until further ntice: Dry cargo from the Far East to Central West Africa( Nigeria, Cote d'Ivoire, Benin, Ghana,Togo,Equatorial Guinea) and the South West Africa (Angola, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Namibia, Gabon, Cameroon) will be subject to a surcharge of $250/TEU PSS.
Effective 20 March 2025 and until further notice: Peak Season Surcharge PSS will be levied on all shipments from Far East ports (Northern, Central, Southern and Hong Kong, Northeast and Southeast Asia) and the east coast of India to Zanzibar & Tanga in Tanzania. Levy amount:$500 per container.

MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company announces new freight rates from Far East ports ( including but not limited to Japanese, Korean, and Southeast Asian ports) to Nordic ports, effective from April 1, 2025, and no later than April 14, 2025.
